The multi-tool is designed to be used to properly remove and install the contact posts from your DogWatch receiver., or when you want to change the collar strap. Unlike a conventional wrench, it will not "bite" into the post and will not over torque causing stripping of the post or receiver.
The multi-tool also has a built-in lip for removing the battery cap and not stripping the battery cap slot. It also has a built in magnet tip to change the correction level on a DogWatch receiver.
In addition the multi-tool has a small light that will activate if the receiver is being tested for correction. This eliminates your feeling the correction.
